Purpose
Sending your listings to a property portal requires an agency account with that portal. Consequently, no listing is sent to a portal from REOS without a contract between your agency and that portal, as each connection is configured by REOS using your own access credentials.
Portals are presented by country, with the United Kingdom featuring Rightmove, Zoopla and OnTheMarket.
Where to find it
- Sales
- Website
Section "Property portals" at the bottom of the screen.
Steps
- Open "Website" and scroll down to the "Property portals" section.
- Locate the card for the desired portal.
- Click on "Request configuration" on that card.
- Verify that the card now displays "Configuration requested".
- Prepare your agency account access credentials for the portal, as REOS will request these from you to establish the connection.
Good to know
- Only published listings are affected by the transmission to a portal.
- While awaiting a connection, your listings remain published on your website and within your XML and JSON feeds, which you may provide to any partner capable of importing them.
- A request that has already been sent is not duplicated, as the card retains the "Configuration requested" status until it has been processed.
Custom configuration, on request to REOS
Connecting to a property portal is a bespoke configuration. The "Request configuration" button sends a request to REOS, which configures the connection using your organisation's contracts and access credentials for the portal. Without this configuration, publication on the agency website and the XML and JSON feeds continue to function normally.
