Managing portal credentials

Register the publication credentials for real estate portals, and identify those that connect on request.

Purpose

The “Integrations” pane stores the credentials that allow you to publish your listings on real estate portals.

For each portal, the pane indicates the connection method, such as a direct interface or an XML file. Portals without a public interface, such as Rightmove, Zoopla and OnTheMarket, are marked as “On request”.

Where to find it

  1. Account
  2. Settings

“Integrations” pane.

Steps

  1. Open “Settings”, then the “Integrations” pane.
  2. Locate the relevant portal and its status: “Connected”, “Not connected” or “On request”.
  3. Click “Connect”, enter the credentials provided by the portal, and click “Connect” again in order to save them.
  4. To replace credentials, click “Update the credentials”; to remove them, click “Disconnect” and confirm.
  5. Consult the “Technical documentation” for the portal when it is provided.

Good to know

  • Secret credentials are stored in an encrypted format on the server side and are never displayed on the screen.
  • A portal registered without a secret credential is flagged as incomplete, so that you know the connection is not yet functional.
  • The actual publication on each portal is configured by REOS on request, from the listing publication module.
  • The “Last send” date is displayed for each connected portal, which allows you to verify that the publication is working.
