Exporting accounting journals

View the sales journal, the purchase journal and the movements over a specific period, and export them in CSV or Excel format.

Purpose

The “Accounting” screen presents the financial data for the period in the format expected by an accountant, including the “Sales journal” for issued invoices and credit notes, the “Purchase journal” for expenses allocated to lots, and “Movements” for all transactions. Each journal displays its row count and total.

The export functions enable you to transmit these data to the accounting firm without re-entry, regardless of the software they use.

Where to find it

  2. Accounting

Steps

  1. Select the period by using “This month”, “Last month”, “This quarter” or “This year”, or by entering the dates in “From” and “To”.
  2. Consult the “Sales journal”, including the “Date”, “Number”, “Party”, the amounts for “Excl. VAT”, “VAT” and “Incl. VAT”, and the “Status”.
  3. Consult the “Purchase journal” and “Movements” for the same period.
  4. Click on “CSV” or “Excel” in the header of the journal you wish to export.
  5. Transmit the resulting file to your accountant or import it into your accounting software.

Good to know

  • Only numbered invoices, meaning those that have been issued, appear in the sales journal, and drafts are excluded.
  • Credit notes appear with a negative amount, which enables you to obtain the net turnover for the period directly.
  • The export buttons remain inactive until the data for the period are fully loaded.
