Purpose
A unit represents a lot within a building (apartment, studio, house, or office). Its file gathers the data used for letting, selling, and publishing, and presents a “Timeline” as well as related offers, leases, sales, and opportunities, so that information entered once serves all screens.
The status of the unit (“Available”, “Reserved”, “Sold”, “Let”, “Off market” or “Works”) determines, in particular, whether it can be proposed to prospects in the “Matches” screen.
Where to find it
- Portfolio
- Units
Actions specific to each lot appear to the right of its row; clicking on the row opens the file.
Steps
- Open “Units” in the “Portfolio” group.
- Click on “New” to open the “New unit” form.
- Select the “Building” and indicate the “Reference”, which are mandatory, then the “Type” and the “Status”.
- Complete the financial data (“Sale price”, “Rent”, “Charges”, “Deposit”) and the characteristics of the lot, such as the surface area, the number of bedrooms, or the orientation.
- Enter the energy performance details, in order for these details to be included in advertisements and the “Property sheet (PDF)”.
- Save, then use the row actions, “Reserved”, “Sold”, or “Available”, to update the status of the lot throughout the commercialisation process.
Good to know
- The “Property sheet (PDF)” action generates a document in your branding that includes the address, price, characteristics, description, equipment, photos, and floor plans of the lot.
- When a lot becomes “Available” again or its price decreases, matching prospects who have provided marketing consent receive an email alert during the daily processing.
