Requesting a qualified signature

The qualified electronic signature is implemented upon request, using the contracts specific to your organisation.

Purpose

Certain acts or clients require a higher level of signature than the simple electronic signature provided by default. The qualified electronic signature meets this requirement, but it relies on contracts concluded by the organisation with a service provider.

This is why REOS configures it upon request for your organisation, rather than activating it in a generic manner.

Where to find it

  1. Operations
  2. Signatures

Card “Qualified signature · Configuration sur mesure”, at the bottom of the screen.

Steps

  1. Open “Signatures” and scroll down the screen to the “Qualified signature” card.
  2. Click on “Request configuration” in order to transmit your request to REOS.
  3. Verify that the card displays “Configuration requested”, which confirms that the request has been registered.
  4. Prepare the contracts and access credentials of your signature provider, which REOS will request from you in order to perform the connection.

Good to know

  • The request is tracked in the subscription request thread, and REOS is notified by email.
  • As long as the configuration has not been completed, the simple electronic signature remains fully usable for all templates.
