Getting started

Getting started with REOS

First login, creation or joining of an organisation, selection of a plan, and switching from demo mode to production.

Purpose

Upon your first login, REOS verifies whether your account already belongs to an organisation. If this is not the case, a welcome screen allows you to either join the organisation that invited you or create your own, so that the workstation always opens on an identified portfolio.

Once the organisation is created, an administrator selects a plan, which opens the workspace. When an organisation is prepared in demo mode, a banner indicates this and allows you to switch to production at the appropriate time.

Where to find it

  1. Overview

The welcome screen is displayed automatically as long as the account is not linked to any organisation.

Steps

  1. Log in with your email address in order to access the “Final step” welcome screen.
  2. If an invitation is waiting for you, join the organisation proposed under “Joining the organisation that invited you…” rather than creating a new one.
  3. Otherwise, enter the “Organisation name”, the “Home market” and the “Default language”, then click on “Create the organisation”.
  4. On the “Choose your plan” screen, compare the proposed plans and click on “Choose this plan” in order to open the workspace.
  5. If the “Demo mode. The data below is fictional.” banner appears, click on “Switch to production” when you are ready to enter your actual data.

Good to know

  • The home market determines the displayed currency, which justifies choosing it carefully upon creation.
  • As long as no plan is selected, the menu entries remain visible but greyed out, so that you can discover the modules without being able to access them yet.
  • Only a member with the “Owner” or “Administrator” role can select the plan; other members see a message inviting them to wait for this choice.
  • Switching to production permanently deletes the demo portfolio (buildings, leases, tickets and movements), so that fictional data never coexist with your real data. This operation is reserved for the owner or an administrator.
