Purpose
REOS covers several real estate trades, from sales agency to property development. In order that each organisation sees only the modules that concern it, the organisation settings allow you to tick the trades that are actually exercised.
The menu for all members adapts to this choice, as groups attached to an unticked trade disappear, while common groups, such as “Portfolio”, “Operations”, “Finance” and “Account”, always remain visible.
Where to find it
- Account
- Settings
“Organisation” pane, “Trades” section.
Steps
- Open “Settings” in the “Account” group, and then open the “Organisation” pane.
- In the “Trades” section, tick the activities exercised among “Sales agency”, “Lettings and property management”, “Co-ownership management”, “Property development” and “Asset management and investment”.
- Untick the trades that your organisation does not exercise in order to streamline the menu.
- Click on “Save changes” in order to apply the choice to all members.
Good to know
- Each trade corresponds to a menu group, namely “Sales”, “Letting”, “Co-ownership”, “Development” and “Investment”.
- At least one trade must remain ticked, failing which saving is not possible.
- Only a member with the “Owner” or “Administrator” role can modify this setting, and other members view it in read-only mode.
- Hiding a trade does not delete any data, as records are kept and reappear as soon as the trade is ticked again.
