Purpose
The portal is organised around a side menu grouped by business area and a search palette that allows you to reach a screen or record without browsing the menu.
The top bar and the bottom of the menu provide access to the most common personal settings, such as language, appearance, and organisation switching, so that every user can adapt the interface to their working method.
Where to find it
- Overview
The “Search” button is located at the top of the side menu, and the account menu opens from the three dots next to your name at the bottom of the menu.
Steps
- Press Ctrl K (⌘K on Mac) or click “Search” in order to open the search palette.
- Enter at least two characters to search among the units, owners, properties, and mandates of the active organisation.
- Without entering text, browse the list of proposed screens using “Go to”, including the “Settings” and “Subscription” panels, and then confirm by pressing the Enter key.
- In order to switch organisation, click the name of the organisation at the top of the menu and choose another one under “Switch organisation”.
- Modify the interface language from the selector in the top bar.
- Open the account menu at the bottom of the sidebar in order to choose the “Appearance” (“Light”, “Dark” or “System”) or to log out.
Good to know
- The organisation selector only appears if your account belongs to multiple organisations.
- The menu groups depend on the business areas ticked in the organisation settings, and a module disabled for your organisation is not proposed.
- The “Subscription” entry is only visible to the “Owner”, “Administrator”, and “Accountant” roles, which manage billing.
- On a smartphone, the menu becomes a full-screen panel that opens from the “Menu” button.
- In lists, the N key opens a new record and Ctrl+S saves the current form.
